Four Seasons RV Park, Salida Sunset, Arkansas River, Mountain Scene
We pulled out of the RV Park and headed up the road towards Salida for a few supplies, as we saw this drama unfolding. We went back to get our camera, just hoping that we would catch this sunset event.
Driving out of the RV Park for the second time, we saw it was just right. We pulled over a few hundred yards up the road, got out, and got this shot.
Many times the clouds shroud the mountain peaks. This time the clouds formed a backdrop to the peaks, framing the scene with beautiful clouds of color and detailed features, spreading over our heads. We couldn’t get it all! It can be dramatically beautiful at times, other times just beautiful.
